How the NIE works in Lanzarote
The cita previa, the documentación, the Oficina de Extranjería — answered.
The asignación de NIE on Lanzarote follows the national route: fill in the EX-15, pay the Modelo 790-012 tasa, book a cita previa at the Oficina de Extranjería in Arrecife, and present your documentación and pasaporte on the day. We take care of the solicitud and the trámite from one end to the other.
NIE and residencia procedures for the island are dealt with at the Oficina de Extranjería in Arrecife (administraciones públicas). Its dirección and teléfono are on our contact page and open straight in Google Maps. Every trámite needs a cita previa first.
The cita previa is requested online through the sede electrónica of the administraciones públicas (and by teléfono or SMS for some trámites). Island slots vanish quickly, so we watch the extranjería system and lock in your cita for you. Some people skip the queue altogether and let AnchorLess make the request from abroad.
The documentos necesarios are the EX-15 solicitud, your pasaporte or DNI with a copy, proof of why you are applying, the paid Modelo 790-012, and at times a certificado de empadronamiento or carta de invitación. We confirm the precise list for your case on Lanzarote.
